Meet Our Staff
Susan has been in the field of education for 18 years, and the child care field for 10. She has a Master's Degree in Religious Education, a certificate in Early Childhood education, and her registry credential in Early Childhood Administration. It's been her dream to own her own child care center and she is loving every moment. She wants to provide quality, affordable education and care to area families. Susan is a level 16 on the Wisconsin Early Childhood Registry.
Outer Space Teacher
Aimee has been in the child care field for over 20 years and has an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been with My First Adventure since we opened. She works with all ages in the center, as needed, and serves as a guide and mentor to the staff as well. Her active, hands on style is loved by the kiddos. Aimee is a level 12 on the Wisconsin Early Childhood Registry.
Construction Site Teacher
Emily has been in the field of Early Childhood Education for four years and has her Associate Degree from Fox Valley Technical College. Emily is putting her education, talents and experience to work in My First Adventure's new Preschool Room on the lower level. Her endless ideas and enthusiasm make her classroom a fun and exciting place for the kiddos. Emily is a level 12 on the Wisconsin Early Childhood Registry.
Teddy Bear Park Teacher
Anna has 6 years of experience in the Early Childhood field and has been with My First Adventure since we opened. She is gentle, nurturing and understands the ever changing world of infants. Her easy manner and calm approach makes her an amazing teacher for our littlest adventurers. Anna has taken courses at NWTC specific to Infant and Toddler Care and is a level 9 on the Wisconsin Early Childhood Registry
Teddy Bear Park
Before coming to My First Adventure, Karen was a CNA, so caregiving is a passion of hers. She is also a mom, so taking care of our littlest adventurers is second nature to her. Karen is quiet, gentle and an amazing multi-tasker which makes her and Anna a great team. Karen is working on her first childcare course, Introduction to the Childcare Profession.
Sarah has four years of experience in Early Childhood Education and has completed all of her state required teaching courses including Infant and Toddler Care. You'll find Sarah's smiling face all over the center as she works in all rooms as needed. Her flexibility is appreciated and the children all know her well. Sarah is a level 5 on the Wisconsin Early Childhood Registry.
The Zoo Teacher
Alissa has over a year of experience in childcare centers and a little one of her own. She starts the day with a smile and it never wavers as she leads her energetic young one year olds through their daily activities. Alissa has the energy to match and is a natural nurturer. She has her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from UW Stevens Point with an emphasis in Early Childhood. Alissa is a Level 12 on the Wisconsin Early Childhood Registry.
The Zoo Assistant Teacher
Samantha is new to work in a childcare center, but not new to the caregiving profession. She spent a number of years caring for the elderly and she is a mother of two boys. Samantha's love for kiddos and positive attitude make her the perfect person to guide our young ones alongside Ms. Alissa. Samantha is working on the course Introduction to the Childcare Profession.
Outer Space Teacher
Brittanie has almost three years of experience in Early Childhood Education having worked at centers before coming to My First Adventure. She is leading our young preschoolers now and her creativity and love for art has brought a lot of messy fun to the classroom. Brittanie has completed all of her required coursework to be a Child Care Teacher, including Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards and Pyramid Model Training. Brittanie is a Level 4 on the Wisconsin Early Childhood Registry.
The Beach Teacher
Kimberly started at My First Adventure in March 2020 as an Assistant Teacher and has now reached teacher status. Kimberly is a born nurturer and has a knack for meeting kids right where they are at. Kimberly is working on her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education at Penn Foster. She is a level 7 on the Wisconsin Early Childhood Registry.
The Beach Assistant Teacher
Trinity comes to us with a year of experience at a previous childcare center and has completed her Assistant Teacher Book, Introduction to the Childcare Profession. Trinity's sense of humor and fun personality makes her a favorite with the kids in her classroom. She is working on her second course, The Fundamentals of Infant and Toddler Care.
Owner/Building and Grounds
Roger is co-owner and Mr. Fix-it at My First Adventure. The kids love to see his truck pull up and they are always fascinated with whatever project he is working on. The kids call him, "Mr. Roger" and whenever something breaks or is damaged, they know who will fix it up.
