Meet Our Staff
Susan has been in the field of education for 18 years, and the child care field for 10. She has a Master's Degree in Religious Education, a certificate in Early Childhood education, and her registry credential in Early Childhood Administration. It's been her dream to own her own child care center and she is loving every moment. She wants to provide quality, affordable education and care to area families. Susan is a level 16 on the Wisconsin Early Childhood Registry.
Construction Site Teacher
Emily has been in the field of Early Childhood Education for four years and has her Associate Degree from Fox Valley Technical College. Emily is putting her education, talents and experience to work in My First Adventure's Preschool Room on the lower level. Her endless ideas and enthusiasm make her classroom a fun and exciting place for the kiddos. Emily is a level 12 on the Wisconsin Early Childhood Registry.
The Zoo Teacher
Sarah has four years of experience in Early Childhood Education and has completed all of her state required teaching courses including Infant and Toddler Care. You'll find Sarah's smiling face all over the center as she works in all rooms as needed. Her flexibility is appreciated and the children all know her well. Sarah is a level 5 on the Wisconsin Early Childhood Registry.
Emily has a year of experience working in childcare as well as a care giving background. She loves being able to teach kids, in a positive way, how to become the best they can be! Her fun and bubbly personality certainly help her accomplish this! She is currently working on her course work to become a lead teacher!
The Beach Teacher
Alissa has over a year of experience in childcare centers and a little one of her own. She starts the day with a smile and it never wavers as she leads her energetic young one year olds through their daily activities. Alissa has the energy to match and is a natural nurturer. She has her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from UW Stevens Point with an emphasis in Early Childhood. Alissa is a Level 12 on the Wisconsin Early Childhood Registry.
Danielle is one of the newest faces at My First Adventure! Her calm and easy going personality is fitting right in. She is very excited to be working with the children, especially the littles! Danielle just completed high school at Weyauwega Fremont and is currently working on her book work to become an assistant teacher!
Kimberly started at My First Adventure in March 2020 and has now reached teacher status. Kimberly enjoys bringing what she is learning from her education into the classroom. Kimberly is working on her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education at Penn Foster. She is a level 10 on the Wisconsin Early Childhood Registry.
Outer Space Teacher
Crystal has three years of experience working with kiddos. After taking a short break for childcare she is looking forward to put her education and experience to work! She's loves watching the children learn new things! She excited to spend time with our two year old's as she finishes up her Associate's Degree in Early Childcare Education!
Lily has 1 year of experience in childcare. She loves to play and always has a smile on her face; this will be a great quality as she will be assisting in the older rooms! She will be starting her course work to be a lead teacher!
Sarah has over 7 years of experience working in daycare. She also has an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education! Her experience and her education make her a great fit for working with all ages.
Anna has 7 years of experience in the Early Childhood field. She is gentle, nurturing and understands the ever changing world of the little ones. Her easy manner and calm approach makes her an amazing teacher for our littlest adventurers. Anna has taken courses at NWTC specific to Infant and Toddler Care and is a level 9 on the Wisconsin Early Childhood Registry.
Owner/Building and Grounds
Roger is co-owner and Mr. Fix-it at My First Adventure. The kids love to see his truck pull up and they are always fascinated with whatever project he is working on. The kids call him, "Mr. Roger" and whenever something breaks or is damaged, they know who will fix it up. You can also find him in the classroom most afternoons playing like the big kid he is. Roger has taken Introduction to the Child Care Profession and The Fundamentals of Infant and Toddler Care.

Do you love children? Are you a nurturing, patient team-player? Would you like to spend most of your day playing? If so, you may enjoy being a childcare teacher! Duties include meeting children's needs, building relationships with families and lots of play. We work four days a week, no evenings or weekends. Part time positions are also available.
